Our first decent fall of snow this year was an opportunity not to be wasted. Trying to avoid hitting the ditch with the car made it all the more interesting. When I spotted this scene while driving I hit the brakes without thinking and slid right past it . I was the only car out and about so it was all okay.

The beech leaves in the foreground and the ivy meant a colour shot could work also.
A portrait layout worked equally well .
