Gardens in Bloom
I spent 5 days exhibiting at the Bloom Garden Show in Phoenix Park this year . This was my second year attending and this time I brought my camera . The photographs displayed are part of what I captured over 4 early mornings before the crowds arrived . It was an opportunity not to be missed . The show was a huge success again and this was only its third year.
The garden designers and landscapers did an incredible job on the exhibit gardens and when I asked permission to take photographs they were more than helpful. I thought that I would get all the shots I wanted in one morning but there was such a variety of flowers and all in pristine condition that I kept returning every morning in case I missed something.
Its strange when you see the amount of work that is involved in creating the displays and know that in a few days time everything is taken apart and loaded onto a truck.
The weather broke and the sun came out the day before the show and it stayed for the duration. Everyone was chilled out and having a good time. Not a bad place to spend 5 sunny days.
