Sunsets in Sligo.
I spent two hours shooting the sunset on Cliffoney beach because the sky was changing so fast I was afraid I might miss something if I left. You would be forgiven for thinking it was warm but it was so cold my fingers were numb in the first ten minutes.
It was early February and behind me the next snow shower was coming down from the Dartry Mountains. Across the bay you could see that the mountains on the Donegal side were already white. If you do meet someone out in conditions like these then there is a good chance it will be another photographer but not today.
About half way along the beach a small stream cut it,s way through the sand to join the sea creating little islands of sand as it neared the shore.

Who would think that such beautiful scenes were just down the road? Ireland has some beautiful spots albeit a little tough to tolerate its climate some times
Fantastic colours Eunan.
They were worth the numb fingers.
